I am running a small ebay business at the moment and doing fairly well for myself. I am looking to expand and turn it into a full time job though. The problem is i need to then register myself officially as a business and then change the paypal edit merchant name so they have the correct info. I do not know how to go about doing this though. As i say i am fairly new to this all so i do not fully understand what i am doing with it all. I do love the business i am slowly building though it is moving along slowly but very nicely. I am wondering if i should look at a premises and try and turn it into an actual shop or just stick with the virtual one as it seems to be working ok for me. I could i assume just open a new paypal account if i need to. I do not want to do this if i do not need to but i am keeping it open as an option. |

Xiao You and her family moved to Los Angeles California when she was about 8 years old. So her memory of her home in China is somewhat blurry and having lived most of her life in America she does not have any distinguishable accent. After high school graduation she has informed her friends that she plans to go to Barber College and take up Bachelor Of Arts In Advertising. Her older Shancai actually graduated there and she plans to follow suit. To be able to save money and to not let her parents worry about tuition and other school expenses she decided to search the web for grants for barber college and see if there is any that she could apply for. Based on experience with her sister&rsquos college education, it has been very expensive and she has seen her mom frustrated time and time again with the expenses. Now that it is her turn to go to college she would like to spare her mom from that dilemma again. Her first plan is to land herself a scholarship grant if that doesn&rsquot work then she plans to take a part time job. |

One of the biggest challenges for fleet managers and commercial transport owners is the ability to track vehicles across all days and times.
This is of critical importance from 2 viewpoints. One is obviously a need to be always in control of the vehicle's movements and schedules. The other one is even more important and that is to ensure safety of drivers and other fleet vehicle support personnel by ensuring timely response in the event of a disaster. You could consider this a part of disaster recovery plan of commercial fleet operations.
In case you are wondering whether the costs benefits analysis of Vehicle Tracking will be in line with business expectations, then there is a need for business to draft a plan that takes into consideration the fleet operations across multiple geographies and then follow this up with a weighed average of benefits accorded vis a vis the costs taken to earn these benefits.
A fleet manager can expect to gain major points by improving schedules of delivery and ensuring that the fleet delivers timely deliveries to its consumers, thereby adding to the equity of the brand. |

1 in 5 drivers admit to having used incorrect fuel type in their diesel vehicles. This essentially means that 20% drivers have admitted to filling petrol in a diesel tank.
It may sound stupid to some and comical to others, but this does reflect on a need to identify the fuel type of vehicle in some way so that while re-fuelling, such mistakes do not happen.
While some automotive manufacturers will advise the auto owners and drivers to be more attentive in getting their vehicles re-fuelled, there is also a need to mark the fuel tank caps in such a way that such inadvertent mis-fuelling does not take place at any time.
Some companies also offer mis-fuelling prevention devices that can fit on the fuel tank's cap and this will ensure that the correct fuel pipe can only fit into the nozzle. However, it may be a better idea to use an identifier on the cap of fuel tank to identify the fuel type.
Use of incorrect fuel in your car or vehicle can severely damage the vehicle engine.
This guest post is written by Mark Taylor. Mark follows automotive stories across the world and is a strong proponent of fuelcards for businesses. A fuel card will ensure optimum fuel solution for fleet operations.

One of the biggest issues facing students today is how to pay for higher education. After fees, books and accommodation, many students are left struggling to afford to eat and enjoy themselves. The most obvious way in which to combat the lack of funds is to get a job, but sometimes it can be hard to find a job that fits around changing seminars and lectures.
Many working students opt for a job that revolves around shifts, as shifts can be selected to fit around studies. The most common jobs for students are those that require work in the evening. The classic stereotype of the student working at the union bar or in a local shop is there because bar work won't interrupt any scheduled classes. One of the best ways in which to find this kind of work is through a university website because there are dedicated pages and companies who post jobs on these sites knowing the constraints of student employees. It is also worth keeping an eye out at the careers service and even notices put up around campus.
However, the traditional student jobs, such as bar and shop work, are no longer the only way in which to make some extra cash whilst at university.
The internet has ensured that it is now easier than ever to earn some extra cash as a freelancer without unduly impacting studies and the student life.
Working as a freelancer online is an ideal way in which students can earn money. As with shift and evening work, freelancers working online can fit around lectures and seminars. The unique attraction of freelancing work is that it is even more flexible. Freelancers can largely work when they want.
There are deadlines for the work, but the choice as to when the work gets done lies with the freelancer. Online freelance work allows students to use and indeed improve computer literacy, research and typing skills. Many firms use freelance resources to perform tasks as diverse as administration, clerical, IT, marketing, web design, writing and translation to name just a few. With the current economic pressure, many firms view this as a means by which to control costs, particularly the fixed costs associated with permanent staff.
Even with a fairly basic knowledge of applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel it is relatively simple to make money as a freelancer.
There are many part time freelancer roles including data entry, office administration and word processing available to freelancers online. Other 'classic' freelancer jobs include freelance web designer or content writing for websites.
Finding freelancer work shouldn't be particularly difficult if you have the right skills or are educated to a good standard and willing to learn.
Registering with websites such as PeoplePerHour provides you with access to a vast range of employer requirements.
As a freelancer, it is possible to make as much money as you want or just a little, limited only by your own motivation and availability. Whether you are simply trying to survive or indeed improve your quality of life as a student while at university, the opportunities are out there. |

My son was working for several years in one of the machinery shops. He had wanted to go to college last year. He applied for financial aid and was turned down because his income was too high the year before. I really don't understand the way financial aid works. You apply for financial aid because you won't be working while going to school. The income limit cut off was 25,000. People can barely live on 25,000. Our factories had a huge lay off last year. My son went on unemployment. The government extended the unemployment benefits. My son applied again financial aid. This time his unemployment benefits financial aid applications. He received class vouchers along with grants and loans enough to go college. My daughter has been in college since she graduated high school. She is under 25 and still lives with us. Our income determines what she gets for financial aid. She got small Pell grant but the rest is loans. I have mixed feelings about this. Shouldn't my daughter have the same benefits as the unemployed? |
