I am a first time mom so I don’t have any experience yet on how to raise a child. Needless to say, I am learning as I go, although I am surprised that taking care of a baby is not really that difficult. I just find myself trusting my instincts and of course getting some help by reading articles, books, as well as asking friends and family members who already have experience in this area. For example, when my son got really cranky and I have no way of calming him down, I learned the value of a good baby swing. It was an advice given by a good friend apparently, she faced the same challenge when she was a new mom so she gladly shared her experience. So now, even before my kid starts being fussy, I immediately position him in the swing and set a calming music, with this, he instantly relaxes and often falls asleep. I am truly fortunate to have access to all sorts of help. |

My favorite fashion woman is Hindi actress Shabana Asmi. She has an elegant look about her, and displays great body language. She has lovely straight hair and such a warm smile, coupled with a modest way of dressing. I have always been of the opinion that women should behave modestly. Many people confuse modesty as being the opposite to being "empowered" - not at all.
Elegant fashion accessories for me include smaller items like cosmetic bags, clutch bags etc. Nothing too bulky or cumbersome. These help a very elegant look in my humble opinion.
I also think a woman should have the mind to listen to other people's matters and if possible help others, and it's sad to see that so many magazines promote a kind of selfishness amongst women which I find very unattractive. What is most important is that one should behave nicely to others. That is the fashion of woman in my mind. |

I have stopped working in the last three years. But that does not let me down in the way I dress up. Fashion accessories are the most important for me. They define your personality and tell the world what you are. While women are getting more daring by wearing basques and bustiers and other lingerie, I like more subtelty. I believe that when a woman wears a bracelet it shows that she is passionate and outgoing. I have different kinds of bracelets in my collection. There is Chinese, rubies, diamonds and of course the yellow metal gold. I love to wear them with casual wear and some very good ethnic formal wear. Another important accessory is a scarf. Scarves go very well with shirts and trousers. Scarves add that extra something to formal wear and give a woman a mysterious look. Watches give a sense that a woman is particular about her time and knows the importance of it. I have some dozens of watches from manufacturers all over the world. No matter what the attire I always sport a watch. And of course how can a woman leave a handbag and footwear. They are something that completes the definition of a stylish woman. |
