Julie had just lost her job. She was at home ever since, but she kept applying for new jobs very aggressively. She had given a few interviews, but they didn't work out all the way. She was sitting one fine morning and reading the paper. The article she was reading was about unemployment benefits furlough. She was reading it but just then the door bell rang. When she went to attend to the door, her phone began to ring. She came back mid-way and took the phone and rushed to the door. She was expecting a very important call and there was a door to door salesman ringing the bell. She instructed him to leave and continued speaking on the phone. The phone interview lasted for half an hour. She hung up and began to wonder, if the interview went well. She got a call the next day. It was from the same company, they wanted her to come for a final round of personal interview. She was happy to have moved forward on this opening.
