Why I would not live in a place that has a carpet

There is a reason why a small percentage of people like me do not like having carpets in the house or even apartment or condo. It does not really matter where someones place of residence is, just as long as it is a place that someone can stay in, then having a carpet is not something I would ever opt for. This is because carpets have a great affinity to germs, and that is if it does not have enough dust particles already and other particles that cannot yet be given a classification. In some other cases, carpets get stained really easily and getting those stains off is really hard. In many cases some people find themselves covering that place where the stain is until they figure out a way of removing a stain. The one thing I detest most about carpets is how they can smell, and if I had a carpet I would make it my business to know how to get rid of carpet smells. That is something that I cannot tolerate at any cost. I would try every type of way like even using natural products or even opting for using stuff like baking soda, just as long as I am able to get rid of the smell.
