Why tea party weddings are becoming popular

Attending weddings has never been my strongest forte. This is because they are usually very long and I tend to become restless all the time. another reason is the part where you are supposed to dress up according to the them of the wedding you have been invited too. For example if you are invited to a formal wedding it is only fair and normal for you to have on a formal dress to the wedding. If you are invited to a garden wedding and you go wearing shoes that have pointed heels, you will have a problem trying to navigate because the shoes will keep sinking in the sand or soil. My colleague from work was getting married and she asked me to be one of her brides maids and I could not say no because she was clearly excited. She was planning a tea party wedding, and I was wondering how that would be. It ended up being the best wedding I have ever been to. We wore very simple sundresses of different colors, she wanted to mix and match everything, the china set that served tea at the reception, to the flowers she and the bride maids had, and the food was just off the hook. Instead of a big cake, she had mini cakes of different flavors and she served small bit of shrimp on a stick and an array of sandwiches.
